Previously qualified as a paramedic I came to Dilston Medical Centre in 2020 as an Advanced Practitioner after undertaking clinical skills and prescribing courses. With these extra skills I can assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. I can make treatment plans, prescribe medication and refer patients to specialist services. As practitioners, we often see people with issues that would previously have needed an appointment with a GP. I have an intertest in asthma and I am the practice lead for this as well as paediatrics. 

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time in the Lake district with my family, baking and watching my children play football.
